Citrus Glaze

This glaze is delicious on any baked goods, but especially Ann Clark Cranberry Orange Scones. The tartness of the citrus balances the sweetness of the powdered sugar.

1 cup powdered sugar, sifted

1 tablespoon citrus zest including orange, lemon or lime

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed citrus juice including orange, lemon or lime

1 tablespoon half & half

Whisk powdered sugar, citrus juice, zest, half & half and vanilla, until smooth, in a medium bowl.
Notes & Tips:
- To make ahead: Store in an airtight container.
- Use lemon paste for more pop of citrus flavor. If you want to keep this dairy free, replace the half & half with citrus juice.
