Decorating Tutorial: Football Wedge
The football centerpiece set is perfect for feeding a crowd. Learn how to create a stadium of fans using the wedge shape. Once you’re done with the wedge shapes, you can learn to decorate our football shape for the center of the platter.
This method of creating the “field” and the “crowd” can also be replicated on many shapes—like squares and circles. It’s a visually impactful design that’s fairly easy to do.

Using the green outline consistency icing, outline the shape of the football field. Make sure to leave approximately 1-1.5 inches of space at the wide end of the wedge shape for the “crowd.”

3
Flood the football field section with the green flood consistency icing. Use your scribe tool or toothpick to smooth out the icing and pop any air bubbles. Allow this section to dry for at least 3-4 hours before moving onto the next step. We’ll be dipping the cookie into the sprinkles, so you want to ensure your icing is fully dry before dipping.

Using the white outline consistency icing, outline and fill in the empty area at the wide end of the wedge shape. Make sure the entire area is filled. The icing does not need to be smooth.

Carefully pick up the cookie and dip it into the sprinkles, making sure you cover the entire area of white icing with sprinkles. You can pick up the cookie to check and dip again as needed. Make sure to dip the sides as well.
